ECOMB received a new contract via our French agents during September. The contract is with
SITOM de Haute-Taretaise located in the French Alp village of Bellentre. The plant which was
built in 1991 burns approximately 3,3 tons of municipal waste per hour together with 600
litres of sludge. The sludge comes from the local waste water treatment plant and has a
humidity rate of 78%. The contract is to upgrade the sludge injection system that injects
the sludge into the furnace, install a new PLC (computerized command control system) for
regulation and surveillance. New surface coatings for the stack will also be installed.
Work has already commenced at the plant and will be finished at the end of January 2007.
Contract value is approximately 500.000 Euro.
